Chalet & Apartment Esprit
Set back from the road and surrounded by private woodlands and a few local chalets. Chalet & Apartment Esprit are situated in a prime location a mere 5-minute, flat walk (480m) from the practical town centre of Morillon. Quiet, and yet conveniently located to the ski lift, lakeside activities, many shops, restaurants, bars, the chalet is an ideal year-round location for a private home, holiday home destination.
In winter, the bus stop for the free ski bus is just 50 metres from the chalet, allowing you access to Morillon ski lifts, Vercland ski lifts and the Grand Massif Express ski lift in a matter of minutes. The impressive, newly built ice skating rink is only a 5-minute drive from the chalet.
In summer, you can access a number of hiking and mountain bike trails direct from the chalet, which is also just 50m from the picturesque Verney stream and riverside walks. Take a stroll down from the chalet drive-way for 5-minutes and find yourself on the banks of the beautiful Giffre river where even more hiking and biking trails await. The Morillon and Grand Massif Express lift also operates throughout July and August, providing access to a number of alpine walking trails, as well as some impressive downhill mountain biking terrain. The lift is a short 2-minute drive away or a 5 minute walk to Morillon or 5 minute drive to Samoens.
A 10-minute drive from the chalet is the stunning scenery of Sixt, and the Cirque du Fer a Cheval. At certain times of the year up to 30 waterfalls tumble over 2000m high cliffs in this spectacular national park. Chalet & Apartment Esprit are also centrally located for visits to the Giffre valley’s other quaint, alpine villages. Also the greater local towns such as Chamonix, Annecy, Geneva and the boarders of Italy, all easily accessible within an hours drive.

It is truly a hidden treasure, so it remains quiet, peaceful and French. We are sure that it will remain this way as much of the valley is classified as "Parc Naturel" and the Haut-Savoyard residents are very proud of its beauty. With a great all year round community, both French and English speaking, supermarkets, commerces, schools and all year round activties for all. A picturesque village of approx. 500 inhabitants is situated alongside the River Giffre. The village comprises of traditional houses teeming with flowers and chalet-style residences. It is divided into hamlets, which are all located in a valley close to the Telecabine ski lift, Le Lac Bleu and the River Giffre where the rhythm of life is truly varied. Local farmers, artisans and butchers run the village market on Wednesday afternoons in winter and Friday mornings in summer. With snow canons now right down to the village centre allowing skiing down to the vlllage at 700m, further developments in the village due to start in 2015, comprising of more shops and business’, a public swimming pool and spa and a public park linking to the lake, it really is standing strong.
It is a "Bourg Historique" – historic market town. There are some lovely quaint shops and many activities throughout the year such as festivals, open-air concerts and craft fairs and a mountain market is held on Wednesday mornings
The village at the end of the cul-de-sac valley is named as one of the most beautiful villages in France – a "site classé". The views at the Cirque du Fer-a-Cheval are stunning; this is a wild area of peaks, valleys, glaciers and waterfalls. Fantastic for walks, horse riding and relaxing
A skier's paradise situated in a perfect bowl directly northwest of Mont-Blanc with a great snow record. Purpose built for skiers, Flaine is known as the "Désert Blanc". Flaine, and the domain 'De Gers', offers some of the finest skiing for all abilities on and off-piste in the Alps. Well linked to Morillon, Samoens, Les Carroz and Sixt, it is easily accessible to all blue skiers
